Card Evolutions are extremely powerful cards to have in your Clash Royale deck. With two Evolution Slots available, we will show you how you can unlock the second slot with ease.
Since the February 2024 season, all players will be able to unlock a second Evolution Slot for their decks in Clash Royale.
The reasoning behind it was rather simple. The Supercell team thought that playing with two Card Evolutions was "just plain fun" and that being able to summon multiple Evolutions would create entertaining matches.
While the first Evolution Slot is unlocked when you reach King Level 7, there are additional steps you need to take to unlock the second Evolution Slot.
How To Unlock Two Evolution Slots In Clash Royale
You will need to reach King Level 54 to unlock a second Evolution Slot in Clash Royale.
To unlock a specific card's Evolution, you will need to earn six Evolution Shards of that specific card. If you don't have enough, you can also use Wild Evolution Shards.
Sounds easy, right? That's because it is. The only real hurdle is climbing through King Levels. Thankfully, this may not be an issue as you can reach higher levels by playing the game often and completing specific tasks.
To climb through King Levels faster, perform these tasks:
- Upgrade cards: Upgrading cards can reward you with massive XP that can contribute to you improving your King Level. The higher the card rarity upgraded, the more XP you earn.
- Donate cards to your Clanmates: Being an active Clan member and donating cards can help you earn valuable XP.
- Complete Daily Tasks: You receive three Daily Tasks each day. Completing these will reward you with small amounts of XP. However, this can result in more XP if you unlock the Daily and Weekly bonuses.
- Participate in Events and Challenges: Clash Royale hosts various events, challenges, and tournaments each week. The further you progress through them, the more XP you will be able to earn.
- Open Chests: Various chests are available in Clash Royale, with each of them offering various rewards. However, they will always offer XP. Open these as often as possible to get some helpful XP.
Once you have unlocked two Evolution Slots in Clash Royale, your deck's power levels will significantly increase and you may find that ascending through the Path of Legends or the Trophy Road will be much easier.
